So as of right now, I am in the process of applying to the program. There are three applications that have to be submitted: One to CIMAS for the actual program, one to WSU to apply to be an exchange student, and one to Western Washington University as a non-degree seeking student in order to have my transcripts decoded. The applications themselves are not so bad, but the endless meetings with department heads and advisors and doctors are awful (and time consuming). As of next Monday, I will begin to get my travel shots, and I hope to have the paperwork in by the end of the month.
I just found out that I will be in Ecuador by October 2, 2009, because that is the official start of the program. I am so excited to move forward with this process, and especially to meet my family!
